Geothermal heating and cooling is becoming increasingly popular as energy costs soar.  The two biggest obstacles to a Geo-Conversion are: existing ductwork systems can be insufficient for the airflow requirements of a geothermal heat pump and loop costs can push ROI numbers out to 20+ years in some cases.  In our experience, houses with multiple systems are the best candidates for the conversion to geothermal.
